Support sri lanka's Youth Through clean drinking Water

Project Lanka is working to install reverse-osmosis water filtration systems at select schools across Sri Lanka with your help.

4458 students, 19 schools

To date, Project Lanka has raised $14,220 to fund the installation of water filtration systems at 19 schools in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka.

Our work has benefitted 4458 students via access to clean drinking water.

Current Project: Clean drinking Water in Kurunegala Schools

The lack of clean drinking water causes concentration issues and adversely affects students' health, leading to urination difficulty, headaches, and long-term Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Students are forced to seek out alternative options to find clean drinking water, taking time out of the students' class day. Having accessible drinking water via filtration units will resolve these problems.

SCOPE

01

Schools in the Kurunegala district are without clean drinking water.

02

problems

  1. Health complications (CKD)

  2. Agricultural pollution

  3. Poor sanitary standards
